14 Feb Volunteer Spotlight: Steven Weinberger, Davis+Gilbert LLP
Steven Weinberger, a Senior Real Estate Attorney at Davis+Gilbert LLP in New York, has been volunteering with Pro Bono Partnership for over 20 years. Steven, a 2013 Pro Bono Partnership Volunteer of the Year, has assisted on over 50 Partnership matters and has become our “go to” real estate volunteer in both New York and Connecticut.
In fact, when Pro Bono Partnership needed a volunteer to review the lease renewal for our own White Plains office, we immediately reached out to Steven for his expertise in real estate law and leasing transactions. “When the Partnership needed a review of the lease for our office, we immediately thought of Steve as our ‘first choice’ volunteer. Based on his assistance for so many of our clients, we knew that Steve would handle this for us quickly and expertly, and would ensure that our interests were fully protected – and of course, he did!,” remarked Nancy Eberhardt, Executive Director of Pro Bono Partnership.
Steven has not only been a great asset to the many nonprofit clients he has directly counseled, but he has also been a strong advocate for the Partnership by recruiting many of his colleagues at Davis+Gilbert to become volunteers. We are so grateful for Steven’s commitment and dedication to pro bono work, to our nonprofit clients, and to the Partnership itself.
